What Texas weather does to siding
Sun and heat fade and dry out siding year after year. Hail can crack, chip, or dent it. Wind-driven rain gets behind loose or broken pieces, and once water is behind the siding it can soak the sheathing and framing without showing on the outside.
Signs siding needs attention
Look around the house for:
- Cracked, chipped, or missing pieces.
- Boards that are warped, loose, or bulging.
- Soft spots or rot, especially near the ground and under windows.
- Gaps around windows, doors, and corners.
- Hail dents or cracks on the side that faced the storm.
Repair or replace
If the damage is limited to a wall or a few boards, we repair that section. If it’s spread around the house, or water has gotten behind it, replacing it is usually the better fix. We show you what we found and let you decide.
Storm damage
We inspect storm and hail damage, document what we find with photos, and can meet your adjuster at the house. We don’t file or negotiate your claim, and nobody can promise what insurance will pay. If the siding needs repair or replacement, we do the work.
